SMS Appointment Reminders and Consent By providing your phone number, you explicitly consent to receive SMS text messages from Dr. Bashar Hmoud’s office for appointment reminders and scheduling updates. These messages will be related to your medical appointments and may include:
- Appointment confirmations
- Reminders (1-3 text messages per week around your appointment dates)
- Changes or cancellations regarding your scheduled appointments
You are providing express written consent to receive these messages through an opt-in process (e.g., by selecting a checkbox or signing a form that allows SMS communications). Your consent is not a condition of receiving healthcare services from Dr. Bashar Hmoud’s office.
Message Frequency and Charges While you will receive no more than 3 SMS messages per week in relation to your appointments, additional messages may be sent under special circumstances. Standard message and data rates as per your mobile carrier may apply.
Opt-Out Instructions You can withdraw your consent and stop receiving SMS appointment reminders at any time by replying “STOP” to any text message from us. After opting out, you will not receive further SMS messages, but you can still receive notifications via email or phone calls.
SMS Consent Verification Upon opting into our SMS appointment reminders, you will receive a confirmation message to verify your consent. By replying “YES” to the confirmation message, you confirm your desire to receive SMS communications.
Delivery Disclaimer The delivery of SMS messages may depend on the availability and performance of your mobile carrier. Dr. Bashar Hmoud’s office is not responsible for any delays or failures in message delivery.

Opt-Out and Data Management You may opt-out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying “STOP” to any message. Once you opt out, your phone number will be removed from our SMS list, but it may be retained in our system for record-keeping purposes. You may also contact us to request the deletion of your data.
